So nice of you to stop by. We are a small family run, kind of wacky place to find art supplies, art work, picture framing, gifts and more. We love high quality art supplies, but also carry student grade supplies that are very affordable.

We are open 11 am to 6 pm Tuesday through Friday and 11 am to 4 pm Saturday (and other random times). Occasionally we close The ARTery to take vacations or other family events. Look for a note on our front door if we are closed during normal hours. Gives us a call so we can make sure to be in when you come by at 805-464-0533.

The ARTery is located at 5890 Traffic Way in the Historic Colony District of Atascadero. From US101 take the Traffic Way off ramp and head east about two blocks. The ARTery is just east of the Carlton at the corner of Traffic Way and Palma. Our building is a strong blue color that is kind of hard to miss.

Opening April 27, 2012: "Beautiful Mistakes"... Paintings by Sara LeGrady... 6 to 9 pm... the opening is part of the "Colony Art Crawl"... The Colony Art Crawl is a new event in downtown Atascadero that takes place the final Friday of every month.
